This documentary is so good, and educational and powerful I'm using it for a viewing and discussion at Laney College in Oakland, California for their Recovery Club, WE WILL RISE. Thank you so much for spreading hope around the world.

It was never about fear of women for me. All I could think was that the word "WITCH!" was probably one of the last words these women heard while dying at the hands of their murderers and torturers. It is akin to the "N" word. I cannot hear anything clean in it.. it is an expletive. A word of denigration. Ironically... so was the word "Christian." It was a Roman word not used kindly by Roman executioners. I agree with Starhawk, though... how did the image of Grandma stirring a pot with her cat close by ever become a scary thing?
